Travel enthusiasts made their decisions and chose the best destinations in Europe to visit in 2022. Marbella, the famous privileged town of luxury and glory in Spain, has been chosen as the 2nd “Best European Destination” among 400 trending places.
European Best Destinations is a travel website that aims to promote and support the touristic activities of Europe. The website was established in 2009 by the European Commission in collaboration with 300 delegations. Marbella was nominated as the only representative of Spain at a public survey hosted by the European Best Destinations website.
Marbella, the gorgeous Andalusian city is ranked as 2nd Best European Destination coming after Ljubljana, Slovenia. This achievement paved the way for good publicity on the front pages of prestigious publications as one of the best European destinations.
The mayor of the city, Ángeles Muñoz states that this achievement among the other high-class European cities will be an important promotion. The Muñoz points out the great potential to reach out to nearly 420 million travelers. The number of flights to Marbella Spain is expected to rise in parallel with the high demand in summer 2022.
